Service description

FWTT is a free browser-based typing test and practice tool. It is provided at no charge for personal and educational use. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without notice.

No warranty

FWTT is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that WPM scores will match those from other typing tests or employment assessments.

Acceptable use

You agree to use FWTT lawfully and not to interfere with the site's operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated tools to abuse the service. Typing scores generated through automation or cheating are not valid results.

Intellectual property

The FWTT name, design, and site content are owned by the site operator. Word lists and quotes used in tests may be subject to their own licenses. You may not copy or redistribute the site or its code without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FWTT and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on WPM scores for employment or academic decisions.

Local data

Your test history and settings are stored locally in your browser. You are responsible for backing up or clearing that data. We are not responsible for loss of local data due to browser clearing, device changes, or technical issues.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of FWTT after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where the site operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
